Well, I did just a couple of things to my new to me 2013 XT250 over the last week, and hope to try it out on the trails this weekend.
* added a phone holder ... relatively generic form amazon, but holds the phone nicely so far (https://a.co/d/fKaus1G)
(Oil was changed 1,400 miles ago by the PO ... documented ... and the oil looked good, so I'm leaving it for now).
Next I hope to add a "riser" of some sort for the lower front fender. I saw one article where a guy made one out of a lumber/framing tie-plate. Apparently the nail-holes line right up with the fender mounts ... just need to drill them out a little and buy a few bolts. Seems cheap and easy !
- Cleaned and oiled the K&N air filter (came with the bike / just needed a little cleaning)
- Cleaned and lubed the chain
- replaced the spark plug (denso iridium)
- tinkered with the "power commander fc" settings and got rid of almost all the "decel popping"
