That's what I do. Lower the radiator, might have to disconnect the fan wiring, and then work over it. Also, don't forget to wash and or blow out all the sand, pebbles, bugs and crud from the cylinder head where the spark plugs live. If you don't do that, some of the crud might get in the cylinders or worse yet, cross thread the plug holes.

 

Thanks . input is appreciated. Good idea about the crud. It seems that because of the fairing that cleaning the engine was sorely neglected on this bike. Front of the engine is really coated with crap...
