I have been trying to figure out how to get at the plugs on my 88 FZR400 with few actual solutions. Can anyone tell me the best way to do it? I found a 15 year old post on another forum that said to just unscrew the rad and let it lie on the front fender. Do I have to disconnect and drain the coolant? Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks Dave

That's what I do. Lower the radiator, might have to disconnect the fan wiring, and then work over it. Also, don't forget to wash and or blow out all the sand, pebbles, bugs and crud from the cylinder head where the spark plugs live. If you don't do that, some of the crud might get in the cylinders or worse yet, cross thread the plug holes.
