Anyone else that has the dual headlight mod on a Zuma 2 stroke have issues with it draining the battery? I've changed to led bulbs in thinking less draw however the battery drains after a few hours of riding.

Hi raceface,

Those little motorcycle batteries don’t last all that long anyway. I’m a big fan of the dual headlight harness.

ZUMALIGHTS.COM - Yamaha Zuma Dual Headlight Wiring Harness! Double the performance of your headlights with our kit!

I haven’t had any battery problems with it on my Zuma 125 (and before that) my Zuma 50, but I have to admit that I have always babied the lighting, and with the Zuma 125 needing electric for a fuel pump and starter, I’m particularly paranoid.

I hook up my Zuma to a trickle charger when not in use, don’t have other electrical gadgets on it, and don’t usually use the high beams (why would I need to with both headlights lighting my way).

I haven’t bought a lower watt bulb as yet, but will probably do that when needed.
