Yamaha fz8 misfire/poor idle.

Hi, long story cut short. Bike runs fine open throttle but tick over and v low revs had intermittent judder or misfire. Was checking coils and 3 are the same and 1 is different. All.test ok but seems shorter. Will attach pic. Does this seem normal as I'm no expert at all but seems to be maybe a bad connection. Thanks all

I would suspect the spark plugs first.

Also, you could check the holes in the head where the plugs are for the depth of the odd ball. just use a screw driver or something and mark the depth of each hole to find the short one to be sure you get them back correctly.

Yes! Spark plug gap was wrong on 2 of them!! Perfect now 😀
