No it can't, the head won't clear the cylinder studs before the top of it hits the frame.

Theoretically there is enough space to lift the head high enough to get in with grips or stilsons to unscrew the studs, from the engine casing, but then you would have the cylinder barrels and base gasket floating about loose and these engines leak oil too easily as it is...
