It is still a bit cold for a grage day up here. I have been mighty tempted but unfortunately I am just finishing up a home renovation and the garage is full of wood. With some luck I can get it all to the dump this coming weekend. The only thing I managed to accomplish last weekend was to retrofit LED lights into an old aquarium canopy to provide the right kind of spectrum for corals in a reef tank. I will be back when I get my bike stuff underway.

Went out to fire up pressure washer. After a dozen pulls and no start I wanted to slap myself as I don't remember adding stabilizer or running fuel out of carb like I normally do. So time rebuild fuel system. Jets were so clogged it took a safety pin to clear.

Reason I wanted to get power washer going is one of my sons drove from North Carolina to Texas to pick up a project for him and my grandson. It's a 2000 Firehawk that had sat outside for 12 years under a tree.

Trailered it 5 hours away to my place and knocked first layer of dirt off. It actually cleaned up pretty well.

It will take alot to get it mechanically sound, but will be a nice project for them.

Looks a lot like my grandson , BIG BOYS ... He stayed home this weekend to work on his race car . Better than hanging around a bunch of " over the hill " flattrack racers ...LOL...

It's the LS1. While I'm not a big GM fan, this is a pretty cool ride.

My daughter had the 81 plain jane Firebird with a hopped up 358 chevy small block race motor out of a wrecked dirt track modified ... Broke a lot of trans , and motor mounts ....
She drove the hell out of that car ....

I have taken over the laundry room and have two 125s displayed in the wall of the rec room. I switched over to salt water a year ago and that has been an adjustment. I'd love an orchard or a grage big enough for more than one bike...

I have a 14 x 20 garage that yeilds about a 7 x 12 foot space to work once you put a bench, machines, and tool boxes in there. I have a little 10 x 10 metal shed a bike can live in while the other is worked on.

The FZ600 will get wheeled outside to make room for the GSXR 1100 to get a preseason spa treatment fairly soon. The carbs need to be pulled and sorted. I strongly suspect Mikuni is the Japanese word for annoying. Don't get me wrong, when they are right they are REALLY right, but when they are wrong you get to pull them off the engine to adjust the fuel screws.

Wished it was Riding Time. Tonight I will fall asleep thinking about last summer. Cleared 20" of snow from 3 driveways and shoveled 4 paths. Minnesota is where your FZ1 sits without a battery patiently waiting for the good times to roll.
