Sitting here at WesternEdge getting the exhaust braket sorted. Mechanic just took me out to the workshop to view before bolting it all up. Removal of exhaust not required.
Will post results when I get home.

G'day Folks
So the original idea to step the plate was given up for simply double plating to align top and bottom pipe brackets.
The plate material used was just a whisker thicker than what would have been optimal but close enough to work without putting undue stress on the pipes crossover.
The standoff gap between the pipes is good.

2.5 hours of labour including an around the block test ride by the mechanic.
They had a full set of V&H dog and bone nut plates, which could have cost me a ridiculous $70-80 AUD off Ebay, Ex the US. Costs more for postage than the product.

So end result excellent no more hideous banging pipes at the tail end.

Big thankyou to WesternEdge Motorcycles for coming to the party and sorting this out.
The salesman Corey in particular. A true gentleman and worked hard to secure a good result. Also Ray Head Mechanic. Certainly between the two, faith has been restored.

Nice ride home, given it was cloudy and a little cool.

Cheers.

These arrived tonight when the wife cleaned out the PO Box.
All good they are on my Warrior parts shelf for as and when needed now.
