The seat is firm when first installed but after a 1000 miles it conforms to your body - and absolutely no sore spots - 2 hour rides and it's like the first 5 minutes - I haven't ridden a Mustang seat but they look like they could be an even better choice as the back portion is more vertical allowing a little further backward movement if you're a tall person over 6'.
