Again I have just acquired a 2007 VStar 650 Classic. I need new tires and I plan a trip to the west coast next early summer. Any recommendations on what tires are good for the long haul? Thanks in advance

I've put Michelin tires on every one of our family's vehicles since 1991! All from Discount Tire, too. Except for my Yamaha 125-cc. Bought Michelins for the Yamaha on Amazon, had them installed locally. HIGHLY recommend Michelin. High quality and they sure do ''hold their air.'' Love 'em.
