hey guys im new to the forum ,
i just got a svx 1300 thats been standing some time say 18 months , wont start only starts with easy start.
where shoud i look please for some hints and tips please.

Welcome Steve. Starting when you give it a shot of starter fluid confirms you have air and spark but not fuel. I think that is fuel injected correct? I would clean and inspect the injectors as sitting 18 months may have resulted in gelled fuel in the system.

Personally, a general refresh of all fluids - oil, fuel, coolant, and brakes would be in order. I would also pull and inspect the plugs. If you can get your hands on a service manual for it all those tasks are laid out and not difficult to perform.

What does the fuel in tank smell like? If fuel smells like varnish you will probably need to flush the entire fuel system. Keep us informed on what you find.

the tank smells ok but i will flush it all out to be sure, thankyou.
