Another retiree here- started riding at 70 with a 650 Classic on whiv=ch I put 113000 km in five years and just lately purchased a V Star 950 and hoping to do the same - ride em every day and wash them as needed.

Good day folks, new member from BC, Canada. I'm looking for some advice on what may be causing my outboards issue. My engine idles fine in neutral and I can rev it right up when it's in neutral. Now, when I put it in gear and I try to crank the throttle, it seems that the throttle will not crank at all, so it only will go idle speed. Any thoughts folks for a good ole Canadian boy?

Welcome to the forum .. Do you have a feeling of resistance on the throttle ? Have you tried following the cable to the carb ? Model and size would help ....Also try Manualslib.com for a PDF version of service manual .....,

Hello everyone!
I'm Forrestt, I'm a full-time firefighter, I'm kicking somehow from my own dumb experiences at 29 years old. I'm from Pensacola FL ororiginally but now I live just outside of it. I ride my '09 V-star 650 as a daily ride and when I'm not at work, or on the V-Star I'm hanging out with my cat or trying to pet other random cats I see out and about lol.
