I just found out about this and wanted to share it with you:

Jay Leno's custom VMax was sold at the Barrett-Jackson classic car auction Oct. 10 at the Mandalay Bay Casino in Las Vegas. With Jay Leno making a surprise appearance, the bike ends up selling for $120,000. Together with the bike the lucky winner gets Jay's helmet, jacket and can pickup the bike at Jay's private motorcycle garage - tour of the facilities included.

Final moments of the Jay Leno Vmax auction...

That's way too much money for a VMAX, the good news is all the money is going to charity.

That was great! Jay Leno is one of the well publicized car collector. According to the report, He and George Clooney will be auctioning off their private vehicles for charity. Their automobiles and their charities are very different, however, highlighting the ideological differences between George Clooney and Jay Leno.
