If anyone is planning on leaving a vehicle of any kind sitting for any length of time. One thing that should be done is to add an oil treatment with Power Oil. an synthetic oil that will keep you vehicle from seizing from sitting.
Power Oil is good for those driving long distances or off road too. If you develop a leak in your oil pan and loose all your oil. You can still drive for hours if not days with no oil.
If you put this in your vehicle (motorcycle, quad, jet sky winterizing) before letting it set run some power oil in it it will coat the lower piston shaft and keep your parts free from sticking. Follow your other winterizing steps but adding power oil will truly help and keep from expensive parts replacement.
Power Oil also extends you oil changing time from 4,000 miles (normal use) to 10,000 mile.
