Hello, anyone know how gasoline can get into the crankcase on my G29 Drive? It’s a 2015 with the fuel injection system. Started smoking, checked the oil and it was way overfilled and smelled like gasoline. Oil was going into the air box of course. Drained the oil, and replaced with new oil. Running perfect now. I’m perplexed.

Geez, I hate it when something is "broken" then just starts working again with out a real fix - ya know darn well it is still broken but now it works and you can;t fix it... If it had carbs I would tell you stuck floats or dirty needle valves. Have you done a good inspect and clean on the injectors? The only thing I got is perhaps you have a sticing injector and it floods a cylinder with fuel which runs down to the crank case past the rings. You said it runs good - I wonder if that will change over time.
It is a single cylinder engine, and though I haven’t pulled the airbox to be certain, I am pretty sure the injection system is of the throttle body type. If that is the case, I cannot imagine the injector being the culprit. I’m definitely scratching my head, hoping someone will see this that has seen it before. In the meantime I intend to watch it closely.
