Hey y'all! I have a 85 Yamaha virago 1000. So I have done a carb clean because she sat for some time

Gas is spitting out of the air/fuel mixture port. I'll provide pictures. It is spitting out like a water fountain on both carbs.

I have new float needles.

Sounds like floats are set way to high.

Any suggestions on float height? I have been trying to get it correct but same thing each time.
