[Kstrange]

2016 zuma 50f. I was just taking the cvt apart for a routine cleaning and found this damage on the splines, both on the crankshaft, and the corresponding part on the variator fan. Hopefully I can just file it out, but has me stumped about what is causing the issue? Any ideas?
