Greetings all
First post here. Always learned to turn to the experts at the forums to get the real info! Looking to upgrade to a 4-stroke ski. I currently have 2 stroke seadoos and understand the sea doo way of doing things. Have an opportunity to buy a 2016 VX deluxe with around 45 hours on the clock. Done a bit of research here on the model and just wanted to get some opinions on what you guys think. It is the first year of the TR-1 motor. Any issues or things I should look for?
I am an older rider so anything approaching 50mph is just what I am looking for. What might I be looking at for life expectancy hours on a motor like this. I do my own maintenance, is this something that is somewhat straight forward on this model?
Thanks Willie

Bump. same questions for me.
I have a fella who brings his to me for winterizing (Canada) and storage every season. I just fired his up for the summer and it was at 460~ish hours and still running perfectly fine. He’s fresh water only so ymmv in salt water if you aren’t flushing the engine frequently
45 hrs is extremely low though so I wouldn’t be concerned with anything
