Hello there!
Beforehand I'd like to mention that I'm not a native English speaker so please excuse any bad use of the language.
So today as I was working on my 2007 Yamaha YZ250F that I am rebuilding I noticed an odd looking hole in the left half of the crankcase. I was removing the last few bearings of that crankcase half and after I removed the needle bearing that goes underneath the decompression cable I noticed this hole that looked a lot alike a crack that has been sitting underneath the needle bearing. I'll be attaching a few images of that hole/crack and I'd like to not whether this is an intentional hole or a crack and if it is a crack if I should replace that half of the crankcase or If it won't make any difference.
Thanks a lot in advance,
Simon.
