I am new to this forum but not Yamaha's. I am looking to buy a 06 Royal Star Tour Deluxe with 54,470 miles. Is this bike due for a valve adjustment? The rear shock is leaking which is $500 new. Would anyone give me your thoughts on this bike and what I should look out for. They want 5k for the bike.

Too much for that bike my 2006 yamaha royal star venture is for sale at same money mine has a lot more extras and has been totally checked out by certified mechanic needs nothing but a rider

I agree. I just bought a 2006 tour deluxe w/midnight package, 25000 miles for 3200. in near mint for a 13 yr old bike.
