Just got my first scooter ever over the weekend. I wanted a 125 or 150 so I could easily cruise the backroads without some angry car riding my ass. I test drove the zuma 125 and loved it so I brought one home. I plan on learning the basics on simple maintenance but for now I'm super interested in finding out where I can get some parts to trick it out a little. it's all stock so it looks pretty regular and like everyone else has. I'd like to make it my own but I'm not really sure where to shop for the cool stuff. thought I'd get on here and ask. Thanks !

Hello riggins. First off, congratulations on your Zuma 125. I live near Portland too and hope that I can ride with you some time. I always try to buy local. You pay a little more, but you continue the support in your local area and they in turn support you/us. As far as OEM Zuma parts, I recommend Yamaha Sports Plaza that’s located at 22455 N.E. Halsey Street in Fairview, Oregon.

But, as far as third party parts stuff, I highly recommend Scooter Swap Shop located at 5807 S.E. Johnson Creek Blvd., in the Portland/Milwaukie/Happy Valley area. These guys can really help you as far as customizing and modding your scooter.

Best of luck on your Zuma. Take care.
